About Coggeshall Town Cricket Club

Coggeshall Town Cricket Club has been playing cricket in the local area for well over 100 years and is currently sending out 5 league teams each weekend.
On a Saturday we are represented in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties League, Division 1, Division 3 and Division 8 South and on Sundays in the Piri Piri NECL Division 4 and Division 5.
CTCC is proud of being a welcoming club and to that end we enjoy an active social side to complement the cricket. We always welcome opposition teams and supporters to our delightful Harefield home and throughout the season we host Club Nights, BBQ's and adhoc events.
The highlight of our social season is focussed on Cricket Week and 2014 saw Coggeshall host Essex 2nd XI in a 3 day league match (22/7 - 24/7) and a 50 Over match (25/7)against Northamptonshire.
In the past we have seen such stars of the game such as Marcus Trescothick, Alex Tudor, Graham Napier and Monty Panesar as well as the memorable sight one year of Graham Gooch, Geoff Arnold and Keith Fletcher, shifting the sightscreens around.
Alongside the Cricket we will host a Beer Festival, Charity Quiz night, Ladies Day and a Corporate Lunch
Additionally we have a thriving colts section and Mondays and Wednesdays the outfield is crowded with enthusiastic youngsters developing their game in a fun and friendly environment provided by 360 cricket..
from 5 years to u18 we have age group teams competing at every level plus a gils side with their own training sessions.
Please contact the club if you would like to start playing or if you would like to return to those glory days of the past, we would be delighted to welcome you to our club!
