Due to the current hot weather the ECB have brought in strict guides lines for colts cricket. As a club mark club in order to meet these standards we unfortunately must conform with the rules this coming Monday. The splash initiative for colts cricket means we have to play limited overs games with regular water breaks. To make sure we meet these standards we will be playing a terriers style cricket games using kwik cricket stumps and bats and replacing the ball with water balloons. This will of course mean that some children may unfortunately get a little wet in the glorious sunshine, so be warned and bring a towel and a change of clothing.

This form of cricket has never been played before so we have no idea how it will work but think winging it is a good idea!
