The 1st XI were on the road for the first away match of the season at Mistley and although continuing their form with the bat did not manage to close out a second win. Dane scored his first hundred for CTCC and Byron was in the runs with 60. Unfortunately a total of 247 was not enough on the Mistley ground and the home team reached our total for the loss of 5 wickets. However with 27 points from 2 games and guys hitting some form 1XI skipper George Blackwell feels positive for the next match!
