CTCC U12s vs Gestingthorpe

What a great game of cricket at gestingthorpe , every player on our team was involved in a wicket falling in one way or another which is pretty much unheard of!!! They were a strong batting team and having them all out for 73 was a great effort.
Their coach had said he would bowl each of his lads 2 overs before the game, but after our impressive fielding he changed his mind and bowled his better lads! Which resulted in a great close game, which we just came out the wrong side of, with our last man being runout on the last ball of the innings, so we went down by 2 runs.
Plenty of things for us to work on in training, and I will see if I can arrange a practice match, so we can work on stealing quick singles, if we had managed to steal just 3 in the 20 overs we would have won. A big well done to all the new lads, we will make cricketers of you yet!!!
