Coggeshall bowled first on a green damp pitch to a slightly more experienced Sudbury team. Our boys and girls bowled and fielded exceptionally well with each player bowling two overs other than our wkt keeper Headley.

After a strong start with our first 2 pairs our running between the wkts became few and fair between as Sudbury’s bowlers started to bowl tighter lines.

With three wkts falling in the final over we ended our innings on 271. All players today performed brilliantly with a lot of effort being shown in the field and with the bat. Many positives to take from the game and hopefully a lot learned by the players.
